Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you cover?
Are there any limitations?
The Planning Healthcheck service is based on a desk-top assessment and research. No site visit or meetings will be undertaken. This helps keep the cost and timescale for our services to a minimum, but we always use official local authority and other published sources to ensure that the information you are provided with is as accurate as possible. We also don't undertake legal searches, so you will need to check separately for any legislative convenants which might apply to a site or property.
The Planning Healthcheck service is available for all types of site or property across England and Wales. This means we can consider residential, commercial and other land uses (e.g. education, health) as well as greenfield sites which are currently undeveloped.
Will I receive qualified advice?
Yes. The Planning Healthcheck service is supported by the team of qualified and experienced planning professionals at Planning & Development Associates.
How quickly will I receive my service?
We appreciate that speed of response is important for many of our customers, so we set the following delivery benchmarks following confirmation of your order and aim to meet these in the majority of cases:
- Planning Healthcheck: within 5 working days
- Planning Appraisal: within 7 working days
- Planning Strategy Report: within 10 working days
